We arrived in Ludlow from our trip to
Wales. After exploring the Ludlow Castle and some of the shops, we
drive to Ditton Priors to try and find the house Eddie lived in. We
drove on to Bridgnorth and found a B&B for the night before heading to
Warwick and the Cotswolds the next day.

| Ludlow Castle: Eddie had been to Ludlow Castle as a child when he lived in England but he could not remember visiting here. This castle was a lot of fun to explore as there are many small and narrow passageways. There are also 4 different towers to climb and enjoy the view of Ludlow. | |||

| Ludlow St. Laurence Church: The large Ludlow church was nice and contains several stained glass windows. This is just one of them. | |||

Ditton Priors: This is the town
Eddie lived in for about 1 year when he was around 5 years old. We
tried to find his old house, but could not seem to locate it. The
town has grown up much and we did not have a picture of his old
house. If he did see the house, he did not recognize it.
We found the Howard Arms hotel where Eddie had stayed before. The hotel is now only a restaurant. We were going to stay there for the night, but had to drive into the town of Bridgnorth and find a B&B instead. The other picture shows an industrial area in the town. This was formerly the Military Base were Eddie's father was stationed. |

| Cotswolds - Burton on the Water: We had time to stop in the village of Burton in the Cotswolds before returning to Windsor. The Costsolds are known for their buildings of yellow stone. There were many antique and other shops to explore, as well as several restaurants. We arrived towards the end of the day and shops were starting to close. We will plan another day trip to the Cotswolds to explore more of the small villages. | |||
