BBQ at Ken and Tina's

On this trip, I went to Denver alone and Eddie stayed in Windsor.  It was the first time since we have been married that I left Eddie.  He has left me several times for business trips, but this was the first time I had left him.  We both thought it was a different feeling, me leaving and him seeing me leave.

I had not been home in almost 2 years, so it was nice to spend time with my family and friends.  I was in Denver for 10 days and stayed with Tina and Ken.

I had several things I wanted to do like visit with family, visit our neighbors, stop by our house in Roxborough, eat at many of the restaurants I like, go shopping and many other things.

I also stayed one night with our friends Maria and Allen who now live in Roxborough Park.  They have a lovely new home and it was nice to be able to spend time with them.

Thanks again to Tina and Ken for letting me stay at their place and for taking time to run my around all over town and to the mountains to run my errands, visit the places I wanted to see and eat at all the different restaurants I had been missing.

I had asked my family to have a special Thanksgiving Dinner just for me and they did.  It was so nice having the whole family together, I really enjoyed it.

Camp Bow Wow: Ken's boss bought a Camp Bow Wow franchise in Denver.  Camp Bow Wow is a doggie day care and it was totally awesome!

Thanksgiving Dinner: Thanksgiving came early this year.  I asked if my family would have Thanksgiving dinner for me as I would not be there for the holidays and of course Thanksgiving is not celebrated in the UK.  This was so nice of everyone and I really enjoyed everyone getting together just for me.  It was so nice to see all my brothers, sisters, nieces, nephew and everyone else.

Hog Heaven: We drove to Bailey in the mountains one day to have lunch at the Hog Heaven BBQ.  We used to eat here a lot when we lived in Bailey.  The food was so delicious and we had a beautiful warm sunny day.

BBQ: Ken and Tina had a BBQ at their home on my last day before I returned to England.  Ken made margaritas and a special T-Bone Steak just for me :)  It was so delicious.
